The Hamilton Police Department’s body cameras were being inspected after the city council inquired why police did not use them and were told it was because they didn’t work, according to Walker.
    Walker said he and Mayor Pro Tem Ransom Farley, who oversees the police department, viewed the video together that evening. They then alerted the mayor, the city attorney and the other three city council members, who all viewed the video that evening as well, according to Walker.
