“In my son’s case, every suspect that was arrested in regards to his murder was apprehended again with another firearm during their arrest,” said Jason Young, whose son, Jace, was shot and killed in San Francisco in Julie 2020.
“I don’t think that the appropriate measures are taken,” Young gesê. “There are other measures that need to be taken before we even put these individuals back on the streets.”
Young campaigned for the successful recall of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, saying that he felt the Democrat’s progressive policies eliminated accountability for criminals. Young said he and his family were happy Jace’s story helped oust the DA.
